Actually it is very realistic. There are tons of stories of men in Iraq and Afghanistan getting blown up the way Gus did but acted normal for a few seconds after and then died. Maybe breaking bad pushed it a little bit over the limit but when you look it the medical science behind it, it’s not as unrealistic as you may think.
