Honestly, mage isn't great in f7 (especially as cata 30) w/o hyperion. I played bers until about cata 32 then switched to mage when I could afford a hyperion. I assume you're having trouble finding decent parties as a mage w/o hyperion whereas archer with bones (or even melee tank/bers/healer) might still get you into parties.Full storm is ass, since f7 is more about survivability. 3/4 storm with either necromancer or t12 chest should do the job,also this should be obvious but use a blue whale, also don't forget to lifesteal every single time since you can't tell when you will be 1 tapped ever.
