Since each type of tile produces a different amount of science pack, make sure to build tiles in this ratio to balance the production of science to multiples of 1.5/s: Red: 1 tile, Green: 1 tile, Blue: 2 tiles, Grey: 2 tiles, Purple: 2 tiles, Yellow: 2 tiles. Red (Automation) science 1.5/s - Inputs: Copper 1.5/s, Iron 3/s.Science factories take in from both the processed goods and processed materials network and output to the science pack network. So, while planning for my megabase, I realized that out of all my green circuits being produced, ~30% would be used in red circuits, ~50% would be used in blue circuits and ~10% would be used in speed modules, only the ...By BP. Here's my attempt at this. It's 34.3 circuits/second so only about 85% of a belt but it only takes 65% of iron and copper belts as well. I have found the basic idea of the design somewhere and then refined it.Green circuit works with adjustments, but benefits from a custom block that does direct/in-block insertion to avoid belts for the huge volume of copper cable and stone tablet needed. In case you haven't played Space Exploration, each machine can only be affected by 1 beacon, otherwise it is "Overloaded" and stops working.

A litte more than 1.5 blue belts per unit, easily mergeable to a 3 blue belt assembly with a 4-to-4 balancer at the end with one lane cut off. One such assembly is able to constantly produce a bit more than 7.6k green circuits per minute when fully beaconed but I was able to leave out the outermost beacons and still produce more than 7.4k which ... DUCKSES. •. ~7,5k SPM if you don't use GCs for anything else (solar/mall/ammo). I usually don't have separate GC factories past 1k SPM or so (save whatever I need for my mall) - past that UPS starts to become a very real concern and due to the staggering quantities needed it's far more efficient to create GCs on site.

The restrictions I give myself: No direct insertion/extrusion from undergrounds or splitters, no sideloading of undergrounds and substations only. I did the unthinkable to maximise beacons. My new combined red / green circuit build. After so many perfect ratio builds, I found it refreshing to create this where the production of green circuits is the excess from producing red circuits. UPS optimized green circuits v2. by Dave McW https://forums.factorio.com ...The perfect optimal ratio is 3 cables factories for 2 electronic circuit factories. A blue belt moves 40 items / seconds. A single copper cable factories needs 1*1.25/0.5 = 2.5 copper plate /s. You can only feed 40/2.5 = 16 copper cables factories. This means a single blue belt can feed 5 modules of (3 cables + 2 circuit) and 1 last module (1 ...Re: Circuits: How does lamp choose color with multiple signals? by XKnight » Tue Sep 06, 2016 5:44 pm. "Each > plate, output Black 1": first combinator compares each input signal with plate signal, and sends "1 Black" for each successful comparison. Input: plate - 234. Thresholds: A = 100, B = 200, C = 300, D = 400.Green circuits are one of the main things you need to build in terms of size of the factory and raw resources. When producing all 7 sciences, green circuits take 43% of the iron and 60% of the copper you are producing. Steel takes 45% of the iron and low density structures takes 23% of the copper. Together these three items take 88% of all iron ...

There's a 1 to 1 ratio of input iron plate to output green circuits, so you need 2 output green circuit belts. And there's also a 1.5 to 1 ratio of input copper plates to output green circuits. So you need one more belt of copper plate. I would definitely not splice the copper lane into 2.

Here is an early game green circuit build I've had and polished for a while now: It borrows the idea I have seen of alternating the spaced used for chip output with the input of iron plates. It has ratio correct inputs, machine counts, and outputs a steady yellow belts worth (15/s). It should be very helpful in the early game!

But if you only leave 3 Green assembles and 3 Wire assemblers it will tell you that Wire production is not enough. 3 GC + 3 wire build is fully capable of saturating a belt. Although, this will lead to another issue: feeding those assemblers would require more inserters. Green Circuits (Production Modules) Design / Blueprint. I decided to try and have a go at making 40 Green Circuits/second while also abusing productivity modules, since using them allows you to cut down the amount of assembly machines and gets you under 1 belt of copper input (as opposed to 1.5 belts of copper per line of Green Circuits).End-game green cells build. by vanatteveldt » Sun Sep 25, 2016 1:08 am. No belt-weaving, input from and output to below. You have 1 row to spare without losing the beacon grid, which I use to get the second assembler to cross side so output is on the right side of the belt. Unfortunately it has iron shortage, but I'm at a loss how to give it a ...3. Reply. A green circuit requires 3 copper wires. At normal productivity that requires 1.5 copper plates. Now with the 40% extra production in the assemblers, a single green circuit recipe still requires 3 copper wires, the input doesn't change with prod modules, only the output.FACTORIO MASTER CLASSThis series of Tutorials and How To Guides help you become a better Factorio EngineerEach video serves as a beginner's guide but also co...That said there no such thing as “too many green circuits”. Warehouses are a 6x6 square (so large) that stores something insane like 768 slots. Even 8 lanes barely work. So going full blue belts means mega base sized ore processing, even red belts are pushing it! Convertors change the speed of travel, not the ratios.
