Hereditary is good but its a bit overhyped. I wouldn't consider it to be a particularly scary horror film, like someone else said, it's mid-tier.it's good , very well acted, well shot, fairly well written though it owes a lot to Rosemarys baby, but its not "the scariest film" Martyrs makes hereditary look like a Disneyland ride., for a mainstream horror film though its a good one.
