Jun 8, 2023 · I can hear the opening music playing and I can hear the game selecting buttons after pressing 'enter' but once I've pressed enter twice the entire game will crash. I have just reinstalled the game twice, deleting the entire 'Skyrim elder scrolls special edition' folder and reinstalling to get the default files replaced in case of a corrupted ... The game crashes right after the Bethesda logo. I have all DLC installed and no mods. I tried using SKSE, still didn't work. I tried that sound quality thing, still didn't work. I've tried verifying the integrity of the game cache multiple times, doesn't work. Help? Edit: Now it doesn't even get to the Bethesda logo. I don't know what else to ... I simply unchecked the mod in the skyrim launcher and thought that would be the end of it. Boy was I wrong. I started up skyrim and as soon as the Bethesda logo goes away, I crash.
